Below is the Wilson House which is part of the St. Francis B&B and is located right across the street from the main Inn! Access to our Room was the bottom porch...below is a picture of "Margaret's Room" which is where we stayed!
This is our entrance through this back porch! There was a small table and two chairs on the porch!

We visited the Oldest House in America which was on the same block as the Inn
Across the street from the Oldest House was the headquarters of the Florida National Guard
Tuesday night we used our Dinner Certificate and went to The Collage...which is a family-owned bistro on Hypolita Street (Old St. Augustine). We made the mistake of driving our car and parking is VERY difficult to find in Old Augustine! We finally found a spot about 2 blocks from The Collage! It was casual dress...but quite elegant by our standards! We had a man waiter and he was very attentive and first brought us crusty bread slices with roasted garlic and olive oil to spread on them...YUMMY! We had an appetizer of Gamba Al Ajillo...5 LARGE SHRIMP in a spicy Garlic, Red Pepper & Sherry Sauce. Between courses he brought a tiny scoop of Lemony Sorbet and it was very refreshing and cool! Then for the entree we each had the Shrimp & Scallops All' Imperiale...4 LARGE SHRIMP + 2 LARGE SCALLOPS sauteed with artichokes, Sun-dried tomatoes and Peach Brandy then finished with cream and tossed Linguine...this was the best shrimp and scallops I have ever tasted!
Now...about driving in Old St. Augustine...it looks rather simple on the map, but for some reason it seemed VERY confusing when I was behind the wheel! Something clicked in..."We have "Navigation" on our new Cruze!" I just punched the On-Star button and requested directions to 279 St. George St., St. Augustine, FL and it was WONDERFUL...in just a few minutes we were back at our Inn, without a worry about going the wrong way on a One-Way Street!!! There are LOTS of "One-Way Streets" that are VERY NARROW in Old St. Augustine!!!!
We arrived back at the Inn just in time for Dessert from 8-9 PM...there was a Cherry with creamy filling dessert in a thin Chocolate shell...not sure what they called it but it was delicious! This is the Dining Room at the Inn.
Check back to this site frequently as I have two more days to add...we had SO much to do and see and so little time!!!
